      Ein Old-School im Stile von Doom, Quake und co.
      Das Spiel ist akuell in einer Alpha, lässt sich aber bereits auf diversen Seiten vorbestellen. Auch eine Steam-Version ist geplant. Für den Soundtrack ist Bobby Prince verantwortich, der sich auch schon unter anderen für den Soundtrack aus Commander Keen und Doom verantwortlich zeigte.

    • First Person Shooter Wrack startet auf Steam

      Seit gestern ist Wrack offiziell auf Steam erschienen. Bei Wrack handelt es sich um einen First Person Shooter alter Schule mit schicker Cel-Shading Optik. Nachdem es knapp ein Jahr im Early Access Status befand, wurde es nun offiziell veröffentlicht und kann für einen Preis von 14,99 Euro erstanden werden. Derzeit gibt es einen Rabatt von 10%, was also einen Preis von 13,49 Euro ausmacht.

      Das jetzt erscheinende Spiel ist aber nur die erste Episode, die neun Level umfasst. Zwei weitere werden noch folgen.

      Wrack - Wie in guten alten Zeiten



      Wisst ihr, was ich wirklich vermisst habe? Einen First Person Shooter wie in den guten, alten Zeiten. Bei dem mir nicht vorgeschrieben wird, wo ich hinzulaufen habe und ich auf meine Lebenspunkte zu achten habe. Glücklicherweise haben Painkiller und das Remake von Rise of the Triad gezeigt, dass sowas heute noch funktioniert. Doch ich will mehr und da kommt ein Spiel wie Wrack genau richtig!

    • Ein neues Update auf Version 1.2.0 ist raus, bei dem einige Wünsche der Community implementiert wurden.
      Hier eine kurze Auflistung aus der Pressemitteilung:

      Wrack has been updated! We love our community and listening to our community helps us to make the game better and better! Thanks to Steam and the digital distribution opportunities it's really easy for us to provide our players with updates. And.. so we did in the last couple of weeks. We've collected a lot of feedback from Wrack players, so a huge thanks to them for sharing their thoughts with us!

      Some of the update highlights include:

      •Removing the frame rate cap of 60 FPS. This means that the game appears much smoother for people with monitors with higher refresh rates.
      •Added a new more colorful HUD that better suits the game.
      •Added new music, along with new/updated versions of the loading screen and summary screen.
