Cech Out - and D-Day for Avram
PETR CECH and Avram Grant will hold crunch talks that will decide if they have futures at Chelsea.
Keeper Cech has rocked the club by demanding a pay rise claiming a top club is waiting with a £32m bid.
And SunSport can reveal Blues boss Avram Grant will meet Roman Abramovich on Friday to hammer out whether he stays or goes as boss.
That means he may know he is out of a job BEFORE the Champions League final a week tomorrow.
Cech, 25, has two years left on his £50,000-a-week deal.
His agent Pavel Zika said: “A very big European club is ready to pay £32m for Petr. At the end of the season we will examine his contract to see if we can improve it.”
Grant has yet to be told Chelsea’s plans despite asking on several occasions.
The feeling within the club is Red Rom will give the Israeli the chance of returning to his role as director of football and go for Barcelona boss Frank Rijkaard.
Blues pip Utd in race for Jose
CHELSEA beat Manchester United to the signature of £16.5million Jose Bosingwa by offering almost TWICE as much pay as the champions did.
The Portugal right-back will complete his switch from Porto today and sign a four-year deal paying £80,000 a week.
United — who saw him as a successor to Gary Neville — offered £50,000.
Bosingwa, 25, said: “I have friends who are at Chelsea and it’s a club I feel I can improve at and grow as a player.
“I’ve always had a dream to play in England and now I’m here I’m going to work to do my best.
“I played for a big team in Porto and now I’m going to play for a bigger team in Chelsea. My aim is to win titles.”
United in for Brazil duo
MANCHESTER UNITED will bid £30million for Seville stars Luis Fabiano and Dani Alves this week.
Boss Alex Ferguson is wasting no time in strengthening his squad for next season and expects to strike a deal for the Brazilians.
SunSport can reveal United chief scout Martin Ferguson has watched the pair 10 TIMES in the last three months.
Alves, 25, is seen as the long-term replacement at right-back for Gary Neville while Fabiano, 27, will add presence and goals to the attack.
The hitman, who has netted 33 times in 38 games this season, is only part-owned by the club — 65 per cent of his registration is owned by a private investment group similar to the Carlos Tevez situation last season.
Both players are regular starters for Brazil and Alves is regarded as the best attacking right-back in the world.
Fergie’s first choice was Porto’s Jose Bosingwa but he got beaten to the Portugal player’s signature by Chelsea on Monday.
Alves was a Blues target last summer but they refused to pay his £24m tag.
