Hydrophobia

Das Action-Adventure Hydrophobia ist seit September 2010 für 1.200 Microsoft Points via Xbox Live Arcade erhältlich. In Hydrophobia übernimmt man die Rolle von Kate Wilson, die um ihr Überleben kämpfen muss. In dem düsteren Spiel befindet sich die Protagonistin auf einem Schiff, das nach einem Bombenanschlag langsam anfängt zu sinken. Noch ärgerlicher ist es, dass Kate eigentlich panische Angst vor Wasser hat.

Leider konnte das Spiel nicht überzeugen und fiel bei Fachpresse und Spielern durch. Dieses Feedback hat der Entwickler zum Anlass genommen, um am morgigen Tag eine verbesserte Fassung auf Xbox Live zu veröffentlichen. Unter anderem wurden Grafik, Physik, Steuerung und Animationen optimiert. Ein Video und eine Liste erklären, was zu erwarten ist. Für bestehende Käufer ist das umfangreiche Update kostenlos. Wer sich morgen entschließt das Spiel zu kaufen, muss von nun an nur noch 800 Microsoft Punkte blechen. Dabei wird sogar von einer neuen Spielerfahrung gesprochen. Eine neue Demo wird ebenfalls bereit stehen.
