      Das sollte jetzt nicht zwangsläufig in Politik ausarten, mir gefällt die Seite und das Konzept deswegen poste ich das, evtl geht es anderen NexGam(l)ern genauso. Die Themen sind auch ziemlich weit gesträut, da sollte für jeden was dabei sein.

      Leider konnte ich in meiner Recherche kein grosses Hintergrundwissen aufbaun, wenn das doch nur eine Propaganda Seite einer bestimmten politischen Gruppe ist, dann tut mir leid gegen die Forumregeln zu verstossen.

      Soweit ich das gesehen habe steckt da auch die Australische Regierung mit drin, nach meiner Einschätzung weder Verschwörung, noch Propaganda noch Geldmacherei.

      While the roots of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict are complex, most people on all sides agree that the best path to peace now is the creation of two states. But repeated peace processes have been undermined by violence on both sides, extensive Israeli settlement-building in the West Bank, and the humanitarian blockade on Gaza. The Israeli occupation has shrunk and fragmented the territory for a Palestinian state and made daily life a crippling ordeal for the Palestinian people. The UN, World Bank and IMF have all recently announced that Palestinians are ready to run an independent state, but say the main constraint to success is the Israeli occupation. Even the US President has called for an end to settlement expansion and a return to the 1967 borders with mutually agreed land-swaps, but Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has furiously refused to cooperate.

      It’s time for a dramatic shift away from a futile peace process and on to a new path for progress. While the Israeli and US governments are calling the Palestinian initiative ‘unilateral’ and dangerous, in fact the world’s nations overwhelmingly support this diplomatic move away from violence. Global recognition of Palestine could crush extremists, and foster a growing non-violent Palestinian-Israeli movement in step with the democratic momentum across the region. Most importantly, it will rescue a path to a negotiated settlement, allow the Palestinians access to a variety of international institutions that can help advance Palestinian freedom, and send a clear signal to Israel’s pro-settler government that the world will no longer accept their impunity and intransigence.

      For too long, Israel has undermined the hope for a Palestinian state. For too long, the US has appeased them, and for too long Europe has hidden behind the US. Right now, France, Spain, Germany, the UK and the High Representative of the EU are on the fence about Palestinian statehood. Let’s appeal to them to stand on the right side of history and support a Palestinian declaration of freedom and independence, with overwhelming support, and financial aid.     • Ich denke Parteeipoltik und die Diskussion über bestimmte Ideologien will man hier nicht sehen, das ist in einem Gaming-Forum auch durchaus nachzuvollziehen.
      Das hier geht mal überhaupt nicht in diese Richtung!
      Die Seite ist wirklich gut! Nicht weil man sich toll fühlen darf so als Online-Aktivist etwas zu bewegen, sondern allein schon weil dort regelmässig Missstände auf der ganzen Welt angesprochen werden. Ebenfalls als positiv zu empfinden ist dass es eine internationale Plattform ist, auf der man sieht das auch internationale/länderübergreifende Interesse und Solidarität existiert.

      Da geht es weder um Parteipolitik noch um Grundsatzdiskussionen, es wehen dort auch nicht alle Fahnen im Gleichen Wind.
      Aber allein an der schieren Masse ist früher oder später für jeden ein Thema dabei das interessiert.

      Ich war gerade auf der Seite, da gibt es eine Aktualisierung, das ist doch nett zu lesen, habs mal fett markiert, extra für die schwarz Maler und Naysayer.

      Unsere Stimmen wurden in den Vereinten Nationen gehört!

      Der Palästinensische Botschafter Mansour erwähnte unsere Kampagne in seiner Ankündigung, dass Palästina als 194. Mitglied in den Vereinten Nationen beitreten möchte. Er bedankte sich bei uns allen für unsere Bereitschaft sich "diesem Marsch [mit der palästinensischen Bevölkerung] anzuschliessen... zur Beendigung der Besetzung... für die Unabhängigkeit und... damit die Gerechtigkeit und der Frieden siegen."

September: Präsident Abbas hat gerade eben bei UNO-Generalsekretär Ban Ki Moon den Antrag auf Vollmitgliedschaft eines Staates Palästina bei den Vereinten Nationen eingereicht und seine Ansprache wurde anschliessend mit langem Applaus der Delegierten gewürdigt.     • Schade das es kein deutsches Wort für Slacktivism gibt denn genau das würde jetzt passen. Ich halte gar nichts von solchem Kram.

    • Der Witz ist ja das beides praktisch das gleiche bewirkt. Ich muss mir nicht einreden das ich mit solchem Unsinn die Welt verbessere aber wer es brauch.
