Ungewöhnliche Fahrspiele
Also, falls es noch ein paar Fans des entspannten Reisens gibt, vielleicht sind die folgenden Spiele was für euch:
Jalopny (Webseite / Greenlight)
Set during the fall of communism, a pocket full of marks and a new world ahead of you, take a dilapidated hunk of metal and embark on a grand journey to the territories of the former Eastern bloc. It’s your task to keep your Jalopy running through anything that comes your way. Navigate miles and miles of tyre changing, fuel burning, carburetor busting, mud clattering terrain, through night and day, rain and shine, you’ll need to constantly adapt to whatever the procedurally generated world of Jalopy can throw at you.
Wheels of Aurelia (Webseite/ Greenlight)
Wheels of Aurelia is a narrative road trip game set in the roaring Italian 70s. Half racing game, half interactive fiction, it tells the story of Lella, a restless woman driving on the roads of the western coast of Italy, the famous Via Aurelia. It plays like an old-school isometric arcade racer, except that you get to chat with your passenger while driving. Based on your choices – and the places you'll decide to visit – you may end up in car chases, illegal street races, or in tense debates that will make you wonder who your travel companions really are.
The Last Taxi (Greenlight)
The Last Taxi is a multi-tasking cab-venture set in a quirky dystopian future. Featuring a rich branching story world, you play the last taxi driver in the Neon City, a desolate, futuristic city that has fully embraced automation. Trying to manage your debts, keep your family happy and compete against ever more cost effective Automatons, you meet a wide and interesting array of passengers, each with their own unique branching conversations.
My Summer Car (Webseite)
My Summer Car is a game about car building and everlasting Finnish summer. Summer is hot and this game is hot! Never before is a car game designed with such emphasis on realism, in bad and in a good way. Small error and you die. It could be that you forgot to tighten brake linings, or that you forgot to bolt wheels properly. The maximum speed for the car might be only 165kmh (downhill), but it is all horror already at 80kmh. Of course, you can always order some stuff from other side of the world, and tune up the engine so that you hit 200kmh. So have fun with PERMADEATH FEATURE.
