    • Von der Hardware her kann es locker Regionfree sein da es wahrscheinlich wie häufig die selbe Bootleg Hardware sein wird wie auch auf Ali und co benutzt wird für die ganzen Module

      Es ist dann wohl eher ne Sache an der Anpassung des ROMs

    • Leute, Regionlock gibts nicht. Keine Sorge. Das wäre etwas, was man extra einbauen müsste. Es ist, wie tzameti sagt, es geht bloß um ne 50hz Anpassung. Wenn du eh in 60 spielen willst, dann solltest du die NTSC Version kaufen.

      Wir reden hier von Mad Stalker. Das hat nichts mit Zombie Nation zu tun, es gab keine Famicom Version und auch keine US-Version.

      Das gabs für X68000 und PC Engine in Japan, und die Mega Drive Version wurde nie veröffentlicht bis letztes Jahr.

      To give you some background on these classic shoot ‘em up titles, the Japanese iteration was released back in 1990 with the North-American version following the next year. The narrative between the two games differs a bit due to the western localization, but this makes it all the more intriguing for us to explore!



      What the two games do have in common is an action-filled mega-horror shoot ‘em up gameplay that is among the very finest the humble 8-bit system produced back in the day. This new combo release for the Nintendo Switch brings forth exciting new modes and features for you to enjoy!



      Let's introduce the layout of the Switch release of ABARENBŌ TENGU & ZOMBIE NATION! You start off by selecting either ABARENBŌ TENGU or ZOMBIE NATION from the title screen. Once you've entered either game, there are two different modes to choose from. In the first one, you'll be able to play around with useful features such as REWIND and QUICK SAVE STATES. Clearing the game in this mode will unlock a very special SPECIAL MODE.



      For the second mode, you play the same way as you would have the original games. However, you may have additional info on-screen on both sides of the classic 4:3 screen ratio. In this mode, you may also challenge yourself to unlock several achievements that have been added for your video gaming pleasure.



      As a really cool addition to this awesome combo pack, you'll find a bonus gallery where you may view original designs and lots of other cool stuff. Of course, the original manuals will also be included in-game. You'll also be able to find the rapid-fire feature in ABARENBŌ TENGU, which was previously only available in the western ZOMBIE NATION release.

    • hab jetzt mal bei zombie nation zugeschlagen.

      habe abarenbo tengu auf dem famicom. die us version zombie nation ist zwar geschnitten (medusenkopf, statt freiheitsstatue), hat aber auch einen anderen hauptcharakter, wenn man dem so sagen kann lol.

      mir haben immer beide gefallen, doch die us ist ja unerschwinglich. von daher ist mir das ntsc-modul von slg ganz willkommen.

      leider kann man die module nicht separat kaufen. sind immer in einem switch-bundle. dort sind dann beide versionen drauf.

    • Mich fuckt das ja irgendwie ab. Eigentlich hätte ich Mad Stalker ja ganz gerne, aber genau wie bei Darius finde ich den Gedanken, ein weiteres MD Game bei denen zu bestellen wenn sie noch nichtmal das vorletzte von 2020 ausgeliefert haben unangenehm. 50€ plus Porto ist auch jetzt nicht so wenig.

      Ich werde wohl einfach hoffen, dass das Game nicht ausverkauft sein wird bevor es wirklich produziert ist.

    • @Smart86 Ich würde mir das Game einfach ganz bequem beim jap. Amazon vorbestellen. Dann kannst du sicher sein es bereits Ende Oktober/ Anfang November '21 tatsächlich in Händen zu halten.

      Ähm… du kannst Mad Stalker schon seit einem Jahr einfach in Japan kaufen. Da musst du nicht bei SLG bestellen.

      Danke an alle für die Infos. Ich denke, dass ich es mit Mad Stalker kombiniere, um Versand zu sparen.
      Was die jp. Fassung vom Switch Titel angeht, so wäre das tatsächlich eine Alternative. Mit Versand und Einfuhrabgaben ist es am Ende aber doch sicher deutlich über dem SLG Release, nehme ich an?

      Joa, hatte leider erst nach Release davon gehört. Bei neXGam war afaik kein Wort zu lesen. Und da war es schon etweder ausverkauft oder teuer.

      Aus Japan ordern für über 100€ ist nun auch keine besonders attraktive Alternative. Viel zu teuer.

    • Ist halt Geschmackssache. Freund von mir findet es super. Spielerisch wird es mir wohl mehr liegen als zB. Darius. Ich spiele zwar gerne mal ein Shoot'em up, aber als Arcade Port wird das auf dem MD sauschwer sein (für mich als casual).
      Brawler spiele ich gerne und kann sie in der Regel auch beenden.

      Aber na ja, letztlich ist nichts ein Muss. Man kann nicht alles haben. Wenn ichs mal bekomme, gut. Wenn nicht, Pech gehabt.
