Platforms and release timings will vary - we'll have more details closer to their respective launches. In fact, we'll have details on one of them very, very soon.

We have some more games we're intentionally keeping up our sleeve for now, which are equally as exciting and fun as today's reveals. Our developer friends are eagerly awaiting to talk about them, but you'll have to wait just a bit longer.

Of course, Super Rare is best known for our line-up of physical Switch games. Our mission statement has always been about supporting talented indies of all scales, which we see this as the natural expansion of. Our passion for physical games and preservation is going nowhere - so don't worry! Originals is a completely separate, consoles + PC digital publisher. (I think you can guess if our titles might get physical releases at a later date though... watch this space!)

Having worked with 100s of developers across the last 4 years, we want to support talented indie devs long-term and hopefully help to start changing the industry to be more developer focused. We're taking an 'indie-first' approach, as we believe publishers should feel honoured to work with developers, rather than the power dynamic being the other way around, as is often the case.

We only sign games we are genuinely, personally passionate about and already want to play; as with all aspects of our business, our main motivator is simply wanting to work on cool things with cool people! While we hope to change the lives of our dev friends, even if a game were to release and break even, we'd still consider it a success to have worked on something awesome and continue to support the game and its developer long-term. We think that passion really comes across to the awesome people we pitch to.

Our goal is to buck the cold, impersonal trends you see in some parts of the industry. We see ourselves as being 'indie's best friend', supporting all different scales of indie devs in every way - from our physical releases of established indie treasures and hidden gems, to our original publishing of games from devs both new and veteran, to our Mixtapes that support small up-and-coming itch.io type indie jam developers. We just really, really love indies, y'all. ❤️

With some recent hires, including Curve Digital founder Jason Perkins, Supermassive Games producer Tom King, an internal QA team, and our existing core team, our combined experience in all things publishing, marketing, QA, and development is really quite special, and we think combined with our incredibly strong line-up we can really make an impact, both for devs and players.

You can not imagine the immensity of the f*ck I do not give.

Was machen die da?

Sry, 4 offtopic.

Ich gebe dir nämlich 100% Recht und würde trotzdem komplett andere Spiele (Deponia, Inmost, Ghost of a Tale, Darkwood, SteamWorld Collection, The sexy Brutale) nennen.

Illustriert den Punkt also wirklich perfekt! :nice:
