      Ganz ohne die fast schon obligatorische Kickstarter-Kampagne veröffentlicht Bitmap Books im September 2019 ein neues Buch. Wie es sich bei einem offiziell lizenzierten Werk gehört, durfte man sich für Metal Slug: The Ultimate History durch die SNK-Archive graben, teilweise unveröffentlichte Artworks sowie Illustrationen abgreifen und beteiligte Personen ausführlich interviewen, um die komplette Franchise erstmals in dieser Form von vorn bis hinten zu durchleuchten.

      Ich habe einige Bücher des Verlags zu Hause, qualitativ sind die bisher über alle Zweifel erhaben. Freue mich drauf!

      Zwei Versionen kommen:



      Standard Edition
      The standard edition of Metal Slug: The Ultimate History is a shrink-wrapped copy of the book, priced at £29.99.

      Fully Loaded Edition
      The second edition – dubbed the ‘Fully Loaded Edition’ – is limited to 1,000 units and priced at £49.99. This will never be produced again once it has sold out. The Fully Loaded Edition features the book housed within a battery operated slipcase that plays in-game sound effects, such as ‘HEAVY MACHINE GUN’ and ‘FLAME SHOT’ when the fascia buttons are pressed. This edition also comes with an A2 SV-001 blueprint poster, printed with glow-in-the-dark ink and a bespoke postcard, illustrated by SNK artist TONKO, created especially for the book. :thumbup:

      Find diese Fully Loaded Edition irgendwie Quark. N Schuber mit Soundeffekten, toll. Erinnert mich irgendwie an Kinderbücher. Und dafür fast den doppelten Preis? Nope, ich passe. Wenn ich irgendwo mal ein gebrauchtes Exemplar zu nem guten Preis finde, kaufe ich vielleicht die Standard Edition.
      Ja aber es steht Neo Geo drauf... 8) bezahlen wir da nicht immer alle gleich das doppelte ^^
