    Fulqrum Publishing and Byte Barrel have today released the critically acclaimed Lovecraftian retro-FPS Forgive Me Father on PlayStation 4 (also available in backward compatibility on PlayStation 5), Xbox One (also available on backward compatibility on Xbox Series X|S), and Nintendo Switch.

    Seit dem Katastrophen Konsolen Port von Graven bin ich mit Fulqrum eigentlich durch.
    Weiß aber auch nicht wie Forgive me Father 1 performt.

    Hab Teil 1 auf Switch 2x durchgespielt mit beiden Charakteren - läuft großteils sauber, nur bei sehr vielen Gegnern am Screen oder vielen Explosionen merkt man Einbrüche in der Frame Rate.

    Aber gefühlt konnte ich das an zwei Händen abzählen. Das Spiel selbst macht wirklich Spaß, vor allem wenn man Classic Shooter mag. Zur Not halt auf einer anderen Plattform spielen :D

    Danke für die Info, klingt schon mal gut.
    Die PS4 Version hab ich schon seit Release hier rumliegen.
    Werde es mir wahrscheinlich mal demnächst anschauen.

    Liebe den ganzen Artstyle.

    Jetzt freue ich mich schon total auf Teil 2.

    Bin durch und die Platin habe ich auch eingesackt.

    1, 2 Bugs hatte ich, ansonsten lief es sauber.
    Alles in allem ein sehr guter Shooter den ich bloß ein müh zu lang fand.
    Immerhin waren aber die Szenarios relativ abwechslungsreich.

    Sehr cool dass Teil 2 in ein paar Stunden für PS5 freigeschaltet wird. <3

    Hast du den Priester oder die Journalistin gespielt? Priester fand ich einfacher, da der einen Heilzauber hat, der ungemein hilft.

    Jop meinen ernsthaften Durchgang hab ich mit dem Priester gemacht.
    Mit der Reporterin bin ich auf Super Easy nochmal schnell im New Game+ durchgerannt.

    Ist in dem Sinne keine Demo, man kann bei Premium diverse Spiele für eine begrenzte Zeit anspielen. Also quasi die Vollversion inkl. Trophäen, nur halt zeitlich begrenzt.

    Forgive Me Father 2 kann ich sehr empfehlen, habs direkt nach Erscheinen auf der Switch durchgespielt.

    Leider gibt es nur mehr einen Charakter (den Priester aus Teil 1), außerdem wurde das Waffenupgrade-System verändert / vereinfacht. Nichtsdestotrotz ist das Spiel ziemlich gut geworden. Wer Teil 1 mochte, kann imo bedenkenlos zugreifen. Ich hatte nur an einer Stelle Probleme (der letzte Kampf im Cathedral-Level), da bin ich tatsächlich länger gesessen (glaub 30+ Versuche). Man hat zu dem Zeitpunkt noch nicht wirklich viele starke Waffen und die Gegnerwellen haben es in sich. Später wird es trotz kniffliger Fights einfacher, dagegen zu halten.

    Die Musik klingt wieder großartig, der Artstyle ist erneut super-düster und stimmungsvoll. Teil 3 darf dann aber gern mal was wirklich Neues bringen - man kriegt bei Teil 2 dasselbe nochmal in schöner und verfeinerter, aber halt nichts Innovatives oder großartig Neueres.
