musste mich hier mal anmelden, wo es ja sonst nicht gerade so viele Leute gibt, mit denen man über Landstalker plaudern kann. Mit neunzehn gehör ich zwar eher noch der jungen Generation an, aber ich hab Landstalker damals das erste Mal mit ungefähr sieben/acht Jahren gespielt und kenns daher auch schon Ewigkeiten.
Ich habe eine Frage und vielleicht kann mir hier jemand helfen. In der englischen Wikipedia gibt es einen Teil des Landstalker-Artikels,d er mich stutzig macht.

Nigel defeated Gola, afterwards wanting to travel back to the main continent to continue treasure hunting with Friday.There was an extended version of the game that continued on after Nigel defeated Gola. In the extension, the volcanoe is flowing lava, and Nigel has to go back over the island to help free trapped islanders. The whole time he is doing this he is fighting all the same series of creatures he had to fight before. The difference is they are all over the place now roaming in the towns and villages. There is a whole series of new levels that help to explain the visual cues you see throughout the game. These include another underground location that can only be accessed by Nigel when he is willingly turned into a dog. Not to worry, because he now has the power to change at will and does so to defeat the monsters. Treasure and other collectables are obtained by Nigel as usual on all these new levels. One big difference is the Lava that now blocks former passages but has opened new portals. The finale is everyone gets off the island, Friday is revealed to be a princess, who like her whole underground village was turned into a fairy. The Blue Ribbon Nigel aquired is now worn by Friday. The additional levels are by far better than the lower levels, and much more difficult. These levels make use of such things as the Magic Book that was available for Nigel to purchase, and other previously unusable items. If you can find this version, good luck. One is known to have been found, and subsequently traded by the owner, and has not been seen since. This is not game myth, but verified by multiple players. It is believed to have been a limited edition version that is locked in the programming of the original game.
Was soll man hiervon halten? Einerseits ist es ja recht detailliert (sogar die blaue Schleife wird einbezogen), andererseits wird nirgends erklärt, wie man diesen Specialpart freischalten kann oder woher die Special Edition stammt. Nix. Ich versteh das nicht. Ein Fake?
