      Japanese - English Translator (Communication Coordinator)

      Our President's Office in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) is looking for a Japanese - English Translator (Communication Coordinator) m/f
      Our in-house translation team supports a wide range of internal and external communications between Nintendo of Europe GmbH and both our headquarters in Kyoto and other video game developers in Japan. We are looking for staff with an excellent knowledge of both the English and Japanese languages to take up a full-time position within our Communication Coordinator Group based in Frankfurt am Main. You can professionally translate in both directions between these two languages and are used to working efficiently with a PC (Microsoft Office). A relevant degree or work experience in a similar role would be considered advantageous. Playing video games will also be a minor part of your work.

      Applications should include a CV in both English and Japanese. Additionally, copies of relevant qualifications or certificates and a cover letter in English must be presented.

    • die werden muttersprachler suchen, mindestens in einer der zwei sprachen, meistens in der sprache in die übersetzt werden soll (ich denke mal in diesem fall dann englisch). wie nicht muttersprachler sprachen "können" nach dem studium erlebe ich immer wieder bei dänisch lehrern in der schule, 4 jahre studiert und die volle gurke wie die sprechen (bin dänischer muttersprachler :D)

    • wobei es sich bei der adresse an die man sich wenden soll ja auch um eine muttersprachlerin bei dem namen zu handeln scheint, rika yamamoto hört sich nicht deutsch an, da wird es bestimmt ein gespräch auf japanisch und englisch geben ;)

      Nee, aber hast schon Recht mit dem Gespräch. Aber ich kenne Leute, die Japanisch und Englisch lesen und übersetzen können, beim Sprechen aber Probleme kriegen (Kellerkinder halt :lol: ), für die wäre so ein Job eigentlich ganz nett.

      Our Sales Planning & Strategy Department in Frankfurt (Germany) is looking for a
      Product Analyst (m/f)
      Your tasks
      - Understand and support game evaluations, operationalize targets and determine potential release timings, language specifications and identify cultural issues
      - Obtain and exchange information with NCL and NOA strategy & development groups to ensure consistency in global release planning and product understanding
      - Coordinate with other departments release timings and release specifications
      - Create and maintain presentations, product overview files and schedules

      Requirements
      - Very good business language skills in written and spoken English and Japanese as well as a deep understanding of European and Japanese culture
      - Aptness in game concept analysis with the ability to recognize opportunities, define challenges and objectives, point out alternatives and formulate solutions
      - Deep understanding of the videogame market, trends and mechanics
      - Ability to prioritize tasks and work accurately under pressure of deadlines with frequent interruptions
      - Ability to convey viewpoints and opinion in a concise written manner or in presentations to both large and small groups
      - Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
      - Ability to work effectively as a team member and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
