Warum hat Sony nicht seit dem Bumerang Controller gelernt, dass solche Experimente leicht in die Hose gehen können? -

Ich denke das ist ein Fake.
Das Design unter dem linken Analogstick, ist eindeutig vom Sterkreutz.
Ausserdem geht das gegen Sonys "Art of Design". -
Wie soll das funktionieren? Steuerkruez viel zu weit weg.

Auch wenn fake, die Frage nach der Intention so etwas zu machen muss man sich ja schon stellen! Sowas machen die ja nicht einfach so weil ihnen langweilig ist und klatschen es auf die Seite

und wieso wurde diese Steuerkreuzumrandung auf der linken seite beibehalten wo doch der analogstick jetzt da ist. Sieht für mich nach einem fake aus.

Ich denke auch das es ein fake ist. Schon weil da die optische Symmetrie fehlt.
Andererseits wäre es kein Problem gewesen die Digi-Kreuz Vertiefung zu entfernen. Hätte das wirklich jemand im Photoshop gebastelt, dann hätte er sich auch das bisschen Mühe gemacht die Fläche zu glätten. Das kann ja jeder Anfänger.
Wie auch immer, schlecht wäre es nicht. Heute funktioniert ein Grotßteil der Spiele nur noch über den Analogstick. Warum dann nicht das Digi-Kreuz ins Abseits stellen, statt der Hauptkontroll-Einheit?
Das ist beim 360 Controller so, beim Gamecube pad, beim Dreamcast Controller usw. Beispiel GC:
Ganz anders bei Retro Controllern, z.B. dem N64 pad oder Wii Retro-Controller.
Eine Neuanordnung der Steuereinheit wäre also eine sinnvolle Modernisierung des PS2 Pads. Unrealistisch ist das nicht. -

Sony to cut price of 80GB PS3 to $499, says Pachter
Industry analyst Michael Pachter expects the 80GB PlayStation 3 to drop in price to USD 499 once all stock of the 60GB model has sold out.
The 80GB model currently retails in North America for USD 599 with a copy of Evolution Studio's Motorstorm, but Pachter believes the newly introduced unit will drop in price for the standalone console.
"In our view, the Sony entry level price of USD 499 is here to stay," he said.
"We believe that there are presently 2 – 3 million 60GB PS3s produced and not yet sold, and expect the entire supply to be diverted to the US to honour the new lower price point.
"Once these units are sold through, we expect the company to lower the price of its 80GB model to USD 499 on a standalone basis."
Sony Europe boss David Reeves revealed last week the 60GB PS3 would be phased out in the US, leaving the 80GB SKU as the only option to consumers.
The analyst also predicted that Sony will again cut the price of the 80GB PS3 in early 2008.
"We expect the USD 499 price cut to be maintained until early next year, when the 80GB model will likely be cut again to USD 399," he said.

SCEE President: PS3 to win by March 08. "Just having games on 360 is [not] enough"
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe president David Reeves has told GamesIndustry.biz that PlayStation 3 will be the clear leader in the next-gen console market within the next nine months.
"PlayStation 3, you will see, will be far and away the winner when you look at it by March '08. They really, really will," he predicted.
"It's something that is going to be a slow burner, and suddenly it's like a tsunami; it will just overtake you."
Reeves said he does not agree that Xbox 360 will dominate during the competitive Christmas season, despite recent comments to the contrary from Microsoft's Peter Moore.
"I know it's nice to focus on one year, but he said the same last year - 'We're going to win the holiday season.' But they didn't; they missed that opportunity," stated Reeves.
"I honestly don't think that just having the games on Xbox 360 is enough."
His comments came following the announcement that SCEE is introducing a new PS3 bundle which will retail for the same price as the standalone console did previously.
When asked if he thought GBP 425 / GBP 599 was still a high price to ask consumers to pay Reeves replied, "It is, but surprisingly, people are paying that amount of money for it. Now they'll get two games and an extra controller as well."

Der ist selbst überrascht das die Leute so viel zahlen? Naja, ich hoffe die Europäaer kaufen auch weiterhin nicht.
Sony sollte hier richtig auf die Fr.. Nase fallen! Auch Europäer müssen mal zeigen das man sich nicht melken lässt. -

17.07.07 - Hier sind Meldungen aus der Gerüchterubrik der amerikanischen Game Informer.
- Sony plant eine PlayStation3 mit 40GB Festplatte. Die Konsole soll allerdings keine Abwärtskompatibilität besitzen. Der Preis soll bei USD 399 liegen.
- Final Fantasy XIII (PS3) von Square Enix sei im Moment ein ziemliches Durcheinander. Die Lokalisierungsprozess soll wohl ein Jahr dauern, und in Japan soll das Rollenspiel nicht vor Ende 2008 erscheinen.
- PS3-Spiele sollen ab dem Weihnachtsgeschäft 2007 auch 'Achievements' (Erfolge) besitzen, wie bei der Xbox 360.
Also für mich wäre so eine günstige 40GB PS3 genau das richtige, auf die eh nicht 100%ige Abwärtskompatibilität würde ich so oder so verzichten, dafür habe ich meine pinke PS2. Hoffentlich ist was dran, eine PlayStation 3 Core wäre toll.
