Das Spiel hält immer noch genug Leute bei Laune, so dass es nun nochmals auf fast allen Systemen zur Sache geht. Von daher erhält es nun MULTI Status und wird entsprechend auch dahin verschoben

Today, Nightdive Studios, New Blood Interactive, and Apogee Entertainment have announced that a demo for Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition — the jointly created top-down remaster of the 1994 FPS — will launch during Steam Next Fest: June 2023 Edition (June 19th).

Headlining this demo news blast is a fresh look at the game’s new features and content, including content from the “lost” betas of Rise of the Triad, a level editor (with Steam Workshop support — WOAH), new HUD, multiplayer, character sprites, a brand new episode, and updated 4K visuals.

Ein "boomer shooter"? Wollen sie potentielle Kundschaft direkt beleidigen und vergraulen?

Nein, das ist mittlerweile die gebräuchliche Genrebezeichnung für FPS mit 90er Jahre Optik. Muss man irgendwie drüberstehen glaub ich.

Ich folge Apogee auf Instagram…

…und hatte dort davon gelesen. Kann den Account nur empfehlen, es ist manchmal wie eine Zeitreise. Vor ein paar Wochen haben die in einem Lagerraum eine unbeschriftete + ungeöffnete Kiste mit Max Payne 1 Big Box Games gefunden, dazu halt die komplette Retro Achterbahn mit Screenshots, Artworks, Easter Eggs usw.

Coole Sache. Rise war einer meiner liebsten Shooter der dos Zeit habe damals die Vollversion auf cd gekauft. Wobei die shareware Episode aber die beste war.

Heute soll die neue Fassung für die Xbox erscheinen.

Konsole Version wurde doch leider verschoben?

Ja leider hab’s erst am „Release“ Tag erfahren.

Ich antworte mal selbst. Neues Datum für die Konsolen Fassung: 29.9.

Und es ist da. Mit dem Original Soundtrack oder wahlweise dem reboot. Das einzige was gegenüber der dos Variante fehlt ist die Frage beim beenden des Games.

Geht gar nicht. Warum muss man auch unbedingt etwas abändern?

Ok ernsthaft Leute, das Original hat gerade mal 3 verschiedene Waffen? ( Dual Pistol nicht mitgerechnet)
