Hab mal eine kurze Frage. Gerade ist eine ebay Auktion von mir abgebrochen worden mit der Begründung ich hätte das Copyright einer Firma verletzt (Barbour & Sons). Ich denke es geht darum, dass ich ein normales "Stock-Photo" in meiner ebay Auktion verwendet habe, welches ich über Google gefunden habe (auf dem Desktop gespeichert, umbenannt und dann hochgeladen). Das die Auktion weg ist, ist nicht weiter schlimm. Mich würde allerdings interessieren, ob wegen der Verwendung des Bildes etwas auf mich zukommen kann? Sind Firmen da wirklich so erpicht drauf Privatpersonen deswegen zu verfolgen oder begnügt man sich da normalerweise mit der Löschung der Auktion? Was kann da im schlimmsten Fall auf einen zukommen?

The rights owner or an agent authorized to act on behalf of the rights owner, J. Barbour & Sons Ltd, notified eBay that this listing breaches intellectual property rights. When eBay receives a report of this type of breach, we remove the listing to comply with the law.
