Switch: Gunlord X

As our badly outdated shop massively oversold Gunlord X for Switch we were forced to reprint both the regular and LE of Gunlord X to fulfill the sold amounts.
The shop system did not count orders made in non EURO payments due to a bug.
It's also the reason a lot of people did not receive an order confirmation email. This affected both the LE,RE and old DC games.
We also lost more than 150 LE units due to an incident with a toppled storage shelf and other quality assurance issues.

The 500 unit regular edition reprint is identically.
The 500 unit LE reprint for the USA has a small difference, the serial number is printed on the box instead on a silver label. Printing the serial on the box is what we will use for future LEs too as we had too many issues with the labels.
We will try to give as much people as possible the 1st LE print. For resellers that ordered more than one LE, we ship one 1st print LE and the rest 2nd print LEs.

For the next Switch release in 2021 we will switch to a new shop system to prevent this from happening again.
For popular genres we also just directly print 1500 LE which seems to be an unofficial LE release standard. For shmups we will go with 1000 LE units.

We expect shipping to start 14. October. Shipping through all items will take about 4 weeks.

As Deutsche Post ships the items by seafreight instead of airmail very slow transfer times are expected.
According to Deutsche Post the USA transfer times are 4 weeks for the eastcoast and 6 weeks for the westcoast.

For bigger orders DHL Premium Airmail shipping is available at extra cost 52,99 EUR (minus shipping costs you already paid) (per 5KG).

Australia is still closed at Deutsche Post for Warenpost. DHL Premium Airmail is 67,99 EUR. We will look into shipping with UPS/Fedex after we shipped everything to the USA.

After shipping the pre orders we will sell the remaining stock around the XMAS season. We will send out another newsletter then.

NEOGEO AES: Kraut Buster

The last 50 open KB AES CE orders:

We ship in order of purchase and sorted by world region US->Asia->EU.
Shipping to the USA will be very slow. See above at Gunlord X. DHL Premium Airmail shipping is available at extra cost +35 EUR per cartridge.

Shipping starts next week. The overall processing will take 1-2 weeks.

Kraut Buster RE 1st/2nd print Fast Striker:

After Gunlord X was shipped to the USA we start shipping Kraut Buster RE 1st print in batches.
Building and shipping AES orders (KB+FS) will take the whole next year.

In the future we will outsource production and maybe even sales of AES carts to an EU based company as we can't handle its ourselves anymore due to personal reasons and want to focus on game development only.
We are still looking for a well suited business partner that can handle building and packaging the cartridges.

NEOGEO AES: Kraut Buster RE 1st batch

Shipping of batch 1 of 2 starts next week. The overall processing will take 1 week.

Unfortunately we currently can't ship to the USA/UK/Asia by good consciousness.
The USPS is about 12! weeks behind shipping and the UK has the brexit chaos and crazy bureaucracy. We can't really ship expensive AES cartridges under those conditions.

According to Deutsche Post those problems will be solved in a couple month. Batch 2 than has priority for the US/UK/Asia.

The shop system will inform you if the shipping status changes. Please keep in mind that address changes in the old shop system can only be done by us.

The 1st batch roughly contains most orders with the above exceptions made in October to December '15.

We are outsourcing the production of AES carts to an EU based company as we can't handle its ourselves anymore due to personal reasons and want to focus on game development only.
This will likely affect the 2nd print of Kraut Buster AES RE and Fast Striker AES reprint.

Notice as we switch to a new web shop system the old shop with your AES orders will be only available under a new web address, so don't panic your orders are still in our system. We will provide that address in an upcoming newsletter and somewhere on the new shop system.
The old shop system will be around until we ship all open AES orders.

New shop system / Gunlord X

After 12 years it's time to retire our old shop system.
In about 2-3 weeks we switch to a modern Shopify shop system, new payment and shipping contracts.

It will be a fresh start, no old customers information will be transferred. A new newsletter subscription will be needed as this newsletter will retire later in 2021.

First product in the new shop will be the remaining stock of Gunlord X both LE and RE for Switch.

We will send another newsletter with more details in time.

RAZION EX is a horizontal 16 bit CGI shooting game.
The score system is based on growing gold cubes and using the beam
It has 3 game modes (NOVICE/NORMAL/MANIAC).

Novice mode is significantly easier and will allow more people to enjoy the great graphics and music.

Controls:

Shot 1
Shot 2
Beam

Hold [Shot 1] for slow focus movement. It also shows your hitzone.
Holding [Shot 2] does not activate slow focus movement.
All shots have auto fire.

Game system and scoring:

Collecting cubes reloads your beam faster.
After a beam was fired your shot system needs to cool down to regain full power again
Grow cubes to increase your score. Scoring high grants extra lives.
Cubes can disappear and break if too long exposed or get outside of the screen.
Use the beam to freeze or re-freeze cubes so they exist longer.

There is a boss multiplier. Get this as high as possible for a high endboss bonus.
There is a penalty on the boss multiplier if you fire too much beams in a boss fight.

The enemy multiplier is dynamic and influences how much score you receive by each enemy.
It's influenced by the amount and status of the cubes on the screen.

Tips:

- Unlock more continues by playing the game or training mode.

- Enemy bullets have a very small hitzone.

- At the end of the stage there is a sizeable "BOSS NO BEAM BONUS" if you didn't fire any beam in the boss fight.

- Score high to receive extra lives

- Frozen cubes can slowly freeze other nearby cubes.

- The ultimate goal of a STG/shmup is to clear it with only 1 continue (1CC).
