Der Test hat selten dämliche Fragen:

1) Which company is your favorite?

Sagt nichts darüber aus, ob ich ein Fanboy bin, zumindest so lange ich nicht nur Systeme eines einzelnen Herstellers besitze.

2) Which system has the best series?

Auch irrelevant. Würde höchstens zur Klärung führen, welcher Hersteller qualitativ gute Serien hat. Außerdem macht es keinen Unterschied, ob man fünf gute Spiele einer Serie oder fünf gute Spiele hat, die nicht aus einer Serie kommen.

3) Which controller is the best of the CURRENT systems

OK, weil ich den XBOX-Controller am besten finde, bin ich also MS-Fanboy, oder wie?

4) Do you own a NES?
5) Do you own a SNES?
7) Do you own a N64?
10) Do you own a Gamecube?

Ja, tue ich (GC, SNES, NES, Ur-GameBoy) bzw. tat ich (N64 ist verkauft). Also 4x Punkte für Nintendo. Auf die Gegenwart bezogen würde Nintendo mir aber null Prozent bekommen, da ich sowohl sämtliche Handhelds von Big-N, als auch den Wii scheiße im Quadrat finde.

6) Do you own a Sega Genesis? (Yes this has relevancy, if you think about it hard enough)

Das hat höchstens Aufwirkungen auf den Nintendo-Prozentwert.

Ja, tue ich. Trotzdem exakt dasselbe Problem wie bei Nintendo. Sony hat gut angefangen und wurde bis heute immer schlechter. Die PS3 ist z. B. eine der ganz wenigen Konsolen, die ich nicht zum Release gekauft habe, obwohl die PS1 die wahrscheinlich beste Konsole ever und die PS2 zumindest eine sehr gute Konsole war. Ich bin auch noch immer nicht gewillt mir eine PS3 zu kaufen.

13) Which of the next gen systems do you plan to buy?

An den Antowrten merkt man, dass die Umfrage alt ist. Trotzdem eine der wenigen Fragen, die für das Ergebnis relevant sind. Was zählt ist die Gegenwart und die nahe Zukunft. Wenn ein Hersteller in der Vergangenheit scheiße war und plötzlich was Gutes hervor bringt (bei mir SEGA mit dem DC), dann werde ich es auch kaufen. Andersrum werde ich nicht blind jede Konsole kaufen, nur weil der Hersteller in der Vergangenheit gute Sachen produziert hat. Einen Wii z. B. werde ich garantiert niemals kaufen, obwohl ich Mitte der 90er der größe Nintendo-Fanboy der Welt war. Aber Nintendo hat es einfach verbockt.

16) Are you the type of person who only buys consoles/handhelds form one company?

Antowort 3 (Microsoft) finde ich lustig. Hab ich was verpasst? Zune?!

Die restlichen Fragen sind dann die wichtigen. Eigentlich hätte man nur die stellen brauchen. Noch besser wäre es gewesen, einfach nach der Anzahl der Konsolen und der Anzahl der Spiele zu fragen. Ich fand z. B. den Cube super, nur erschienen pro Jahr durchschnittlich lediglich ca. drei gute Spiele dafür. Auf der Hardware-Seite hat Nintendo hier zwar einen Punkt gemacht, aber PS2 und XBOX lagen bei mir bei den Spielen 5:1 bzw. 8:1 vorne.

Nach der Umfrage bin ich kein Fanboy, da MS, Sony und Ninetndo auf ca. 30% kommen. Also absolut gleich verteilt.

Tatsächlich müsste das Ergebnis bei mir aktuell aber eher so aussehen:

Nintendo: 0%
Sony: 20%
MS: 80%

Punkte für das Kaufverhalten in der Vergangenheit haben in so einer Umfrage eben nichts zu suchen.

ist ja n Ding.. du meinst also wirklich, das der Test nicht aussagekräftig ist? wäre ich nie drauf gekommen.
